EDUCATION
SUNDAY SCHOOL 2026-2027
Sunday school begins on September 13 and runs through mid-May and is open to all Preschoolers (age 3 and potty trained) through 5th grade.
Sunday school classes alternate between FIRST and FEDERATED with classes being held each Sunday at the church hosting the worship service. Classes at FIRST are held 8:30-9:15am, and classes at FEDERATED are held during the 9:30am worship service. Please check the worship schedule on the Home Page
ELEMENT CONFIRMATION CLASSES
Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm at FIRST Lutheran
Element is a youth group, and contains all the pieces of a youth group, while also being our Confirmation ministry. Our goal is faith formation for life, while learning to relate to God and one another. Dr. Martin Luther said: “Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that a person could stake their life on it a thousand times.”
Element meets mid-September through mid-May and is held Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm at FIRST Lutheran Church.
BIBLE STUDIES (Adult and Young Adult)
There are a variety of Bible studies offered throughout the year covering a wide variety of topics.
Zipporah (women's group) meets the third Thursday of every month at 2:00pm the church fellowship hall.
Men's Bible Study
First Lutheran and Faith Lutheran Churches unite for a bible study every Saturday morning at 8:00am at Faith Lutheran Church. We are currently studying the gospel lesson for the coming Sunday worship. All are welcome! Coffee and donuts served.
