​​​Christmas Toy Shoppe and Mitten Tree Donations

Evangelism & Mission Committee invites you to donate to the collections sponsored by Morris Area Women of Today and RuscKinship. Monetary donations are also welcomed. They wish to collect all donations from toys/gifts to blankets/quilts and of course hats/mittens/and scarves. They served almost 500 children last year. Since their actual distribution is set for the third Saturday in December, please have your donations either on or under the tree before worship on Sunday, December 15th.  The tree will be located at the lower foyer near the Fellowship Hall.

Remembering Service

Pedersen Funeral Home's Annual Holiday Service, Remembering, will be held on Sunday, December 1st at 2:00pm at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris. This service is centered on keeping memories of loved ones alive and helping to endure the pain that the holidays can bring following a death. There will be a time of reflection and special music during the service, along with a reading of all the names of those who have died that we have served in the last year. This services is open to everyone, even if your family's loss did not occur within the last year. Revered Michael Hanson will lead this year's ecumenical service.

Luther Crest Advent Family Retreat

Seniors on the Move invites their church family to join them at the Luther Crest Advent Family Retreat on December 6-8. A Saturday only event pass is also available. More information can be found in our November newsletter!

The Federated Church in Morris cordially invites all to their Holiday Christmas Tea on Wednesday, December 11th from 2:00 to 4:00pm.  Holiday bake sale included!  Invite your friends. Free will donations take for local mission work.

Youth Ice Fishing Tournament click for poster

Zion Lutheran Church is holding a Youth Ice Fishing Tournament on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at Pomme de Terre Lake Access.  For youth ages 15 and under (with a legal guardian). Limited to 100 contestants. Pre-registration is FREE. Registration the day of the event is $5.  Some fishing poles will be available if needed.  Grand Prize: Fish Finder. Prizes for Biggest Fish and Most Fish Caught, along with additional prize drawings.  To pre-register, call the church office at 320-589-2744 or Keith at 320-324-7248

Pastoral Visits

If you or someone you know is hospitalized, in a nursing home, or home-bound and would like a pastoral visit or Holy Communion, please contact church office at 320.589.3242. Hospital and nursing home staff can not contact the church without permission.
